Frequently asked questions
Are my photos uploaded?
No. The PDF is assembled entirely in your browser, which matters more here than almost anywhere else — photos of documents, ID cards and receipts are exactly the files you should not be handing to a website.
Can I change the order of the images?
Yes. Drag any image to a new place in the grid; on a phone use the grip handle in its corner. The number under each image is its page number.
Does it reduce my photo quality?
No. JPG and PNG files are embedded exactly as they are, with no recompression. Other formats such as WebP or HEIC are converted once to PNG, which is lossless.
What page size should I choose?
A4 or Letter for anything you will print. Choose "Match each image" when you want no borders at all — each page comes out exactly the shape of its photo.
Can I mix JPG and PNG files?
Yes, and WebP, GIF, BMP and AVIF too. Refusing a PNG on the JPG page would be pedantry, not a feature.
Good to know: HEIC photos straight from an iPhone only work in browsers that can decode HEIC (Safari can; most others cannot yet) — if one is rejected, save it as JPG first. Very large photo sets are built in memory, so a hundred 12-megapixel images may be too much for an older phone.
