Is it really free?
Yes. Merging is free with no signup, no watermark and no daily nag limits. The whole operation runs in your browser, so it costs us almost nothing to offer — ads on the page keep it free.
Are my PDF files uploaded to your server?
No. This tool runs entirely in your browser using WebAssembly. Your files never leave your device — nothing is uploaded, stored or seen by us. You can even switch off your internet after the page loads and merging still works.
How many PDFs can I merge at once?
There is no fixed file count. The practical limit is your device's memory — roughly 100 MB of combined PDFs works comfortably on a normal phone or laptop.
Will the quality of my PDFs change?
No. Pages are copied into the new document exactly as they are — text, images and formatting are untouched. Merging never recompresses or rescales your content.
Can I change the page order before merging?
You can reorder whole files before merging. To rearrange individual pages, merge first and then use Rearrange PDF pages, which lets you drag single pages into any order.
Does it work with password-protected PDFs?
Encrypted PDFs can't be merged directly — run them through Unlock PDF first (you need the password), then merge.
Good to know: Very large files (hundreds of MB) can exceed your browser's memory on low-end phones. If a merge fails, try fewer files at a time — or a desktop browser, which allows more memory.
